Daler Mehndi sets his foot down South

Bhangra King Daler Mehndi is busy making his way in the South, after giving a most energetic and soulful hit like ‘Rang De Basanti’ in the recent past.

He has lent his voice in the much-talked-about Kuselan, starring superstar Rajnikanth.

The movie is being made in Tamil and Telugu and Mehndi has sung a song each in both languages in his inimitable élan and style. BIG Music & Home Entertainment is releasing the album on the 1^st of July; Daler’s number is the peppiest one of the lot.

Apart from Mehndi, an outstanding bunch of singing stars like Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Sujata, Chitra, Sadhana Sargam, Shreya Ghosal, Kailash Kher and Prasanna V.V. have lent their voice for Kuselan. Music maestro A.R. Rahman’s nephew G.V. Prakash, better known as GV, has composed music for the movie.
