Vidya in a negative role

Vidya’s fans are in for a surprise. She will soon be seen in a role that has several negative shades, something she has not tried before.

The film is to be directed by Abhishek Choubey and it is a story that takes place in a small town in North India. Vidya will play the role of a con-woman who is into tricking two men at the same time. The other lead characters are played by Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi.

In spite of being a talented and beautiful actress, critics have many a time picked on Vidya for points like poor dancing and bad dressing sense, but this determined girl has taken it in her stride with a smile. And here she has chosen to portray a totally different image of herself. We hope it will only bring out more of her talent and make her a complete artist.
