Vidya prepares well for Ishqiya

Vidya is working very hard for her upcoming role in Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Ishqiya’. She is learning a different language and dialect for the film.

In fact, she has mastered speaking the UP dialect in Hindi. Thanks to ‘Ishqiya’ again, the talented actress has had a ten day workshop with her idol Naseeruddin Shah, who also stars in the film along with Arshad Warsi.

One of the sources revealed to the media: “The character that Vidya is playing in ‘Ishqiya’ is a very complex character which is very difficult to enact. Vidya thought that the way to emote the character on screen was best learnt from Naseeruddin Shah because the veteran actor was a master at it. She was ecstatic to be discussing cinema with the master himself. Even though one hears they ended up discussing the film and cinema at length instead of doing a serious workshop, Vidya still treasures the experience and is looking forward to working with Naseer in the film.” We hope to see another brilliant performance by Vidya, this time with a legend like Naseeruddin to help her.
